Dina:
My answer may be a bit simplistic — I didn’t know about it
I learned about the conference from Bruno Giussani. Thank you for linking though, now I had the chance to visit with another person who gets “conversation”. I am ConversationAge on Twitter, in case you’re there as well. Let’s stay in touch, please.
I had not heard of the forum…the video on the site is fabulous – it sounds like an amazing event.
Because I wasn’t invited and I have to renew my passport
What a great way to carry on the W list. I also hadn’t heard of it, but also have to limit my travel as I have a new 3 month old.
I’ll check it out.
I suspect one of the reasons is the definition of leadership. From the list of attendees, it looks like organizational position was the key factor. So this project perhaps focuses on leveraging that set of women. (I’m glad you were there!)
Would have loved to, just unaware that it was happening. How can we stay in touch about these things.
How can all 100 women unite and stay in touch?
Valeria .. thanks for dropping in … and good to meet another Conversationagent
Will add you on twitter!
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comments, April, Roberta and Kami.
Nancy … it was interesting being there. Really senior and successful leaders there. Still, I felt it lacked the New Influencers, who are successful in a different way
Good question Anne .. I think one way is to keep listening to one another .. so blogs, facebook, twitter ….?
Hi Dina,
excellent question! I know I didn’t know about the Women’s Forum–and it’s really the kind of event I’m looking to attend these days (I’ve kind of had enough of “blogger” related events–seems that everyone’s just looking to make money these days. Personally, I relish the influence…:-) )
Oh, and there is a W-list group on Facebook. Toby Bloomberg started it, and I know I’m on it and mostly everyone on the list who’s in Facebook is on it. I believe it’s called something like the “W-list.” should be easy to find.
Cheers!
Tish
Short answer: Because I don’t have a clone (yet)
Longer answer: I was on the road keynoting the ReMix Boston Conference (the only woman to do that ever, I think); and dealing with two other major corporate clients.
Thank you for continuing to point out to the world that there are awesome women in all walks of our industry.
